Network on Public Research Programming |
|
The NPO Network strengthens the communication and cooperation between governmental institutions and knowledge institutes in The Netherlands (and abroad). The idea to strengthen this communication and cooperation is based on the thought that both parties will benefit from the outcome of that, resulting in more ‘evidence based policy making’ and further detailed ‘research programming’. By designing this process, the NPO network always tries to make us of the latest knowledge, experiences and scientific insights that are available in the Netherlands and around the world.
The target group of the NPO network has a broad scope and includes members from both the policy and research side, such as: policy strategists, public research coordinators, managers of public knowledge institutes, scientific research and research councils and intermediaries. The broad scope and its enormous diversity within its members can be seen as one of its unique selling points of this network.
Beneath you will find a small overview of the activities and services the NPO network offers to its members:
- Annual conferences:
- Knowledge markets for research & policy
- Demand driven courses
- Network meetings
- Newsletters
- Designing research consortia
