Saskia van den Tol is a graduate student in Criminology, at the VU in Amsterdam. She has conducted several experiments to get a closer scientific understanding of the bystander effect, focusing on the empowerment of bystanders. At the moment she is working for Science Alliance, giving her assistance in several projects.

Jeroen Westerman is werkzaam bij ScienceWorks als trainee. Hiervoor heeft hij een studie ‘Organisatiewetenschappen’ gevolgd aan de Universiteit van Tilburg en is afgestudeerd in 2010. Zijn thesissen hadden als onderwerp ‘socio-cognitieve communicatiebarrières m.b.t. inter-organizationele processen’. Naast het werk bij ScienceWorks is Jeroen ook graag bezig met sporten, zoals fitness, hardlopen, voetballen en pokert hij graag.
